  1. (wrong solicit) The preview on CBR made this look kinda intense.

  2. This series looks cool.

Looking forward to read a dozen of these on a Saturday afternoon.

  3. I can’t get enough of Michael & Laura Allred’s work! And Matt Fractions an added bonus.

    • The letter a couple issues ago with the fan complaining about Mike Allred’s “sub-par” artwork made me sad. I know his style is not for everyone, but it’s far from sub-par! It kicks old school ass!

  4. They tried to double ship this book, but the book kinda of fought back and refused to come out that often!

I love this book, but last issue was my least favorite of the series.

    • really? I absolutely enjoyed the fight-scene. and the gender related jokes (especially wizard’s claim that his cis-hetero-normative family is unbeatable was hilarious). I love how aware this book is of itself and the whole superhero genre and plays with the tropes.

    • I disliked it quite a bit myself (sorta been on the fence most of the series), but then I went back and read the whole series in two sittings and everything came to together and I left loving last issue. It had lots of little things in it I didn’t pick up on first time around, and sorta brought the last four or issues together. I liked how it tied into F4 a little at the end, that was cool too. Cover to this is great, and after last week’s F4 I can use some Fraction redemption, it usually gets a laugh out of me.

  5. Also dig the Mad Magazine Fold-in style cover!

  6. This was fun overall. I wish more time was spent with the Doom plot, the She-Hulk/Medusa subplot seemed a little tacked on/unnecessary but it led to some humorous moments. But I think Darla’s moment was funny, and the cool-art part of this issue.

  7. This is only the second issue of FF I’ve ever read so I’m pretty much lost. But it sure is pretty to look at! Old school charm to the art, including vibrant colors. And what a motley crew of characters. Even though I’m not following everything the writing is still very entertaining. Great sense of humor on display here.

  8. The part where Bentley said how nice Tong looked in his dress was really sweet.
