  1. So let’s see how Hickman handles the whole Johnny Storm coming back with this. Either it’s going to all blow over in a couple of panels or the whole arc to justify it.

  2. I’m struggling with the art on FF right now, but hope the strong writing of both that and this can help me overcome it. I’ve been following this since the first issue of Hickmans run, and I’d hate to drop it now because of that one issue. The story has had its up and downs but overall, I am really enjoying it.

@TheNextChampion – I am also hoping for a strong emotional issue dealing with the return of Johnny Storm.

  3. Is Johnny Storm going to like tag out another FF member for death? Like a round robin of The FF, at least one member is dead at all times. HA!

  4. Best. Solicit. Copy. Ever.

So, psyched to see Ben Grimm finally clobber somebody. (Most likely target: Johnny Storm.)

  5. I really hope the “Doom Kills Alternate Reed” issue happens here and not in FF if they plan on keeping the same FF artist.

  6. w00t Steve Epting! boo whats-his-name pizzacrust drawing FF!

  7. I love Epting, but not here. His style really worked for the more traditional settings in Captain America, but his sci-fi is kinda B movie in comparison to the previous artist’s over-the-top style. Have to drop some titles for financial reasons — and this title just isn’t as stimulating as I’d like.

  8. I thought Hickman handled Johnny’s return brilliantly. The story had intrigue and relative believability. The arc resurrected Fantastic Four. The Marvel hierarchy should take note. Fear Itself lacked all of these elements.

  9. “Here, hold my Annihilus.” Quote of the fucking week right there, lmao.

  10. I’ll be curious to see if Annihilus sticks around as a “pet”…hard not to see him right now as Gollum!
