Man its been a long time since Fables got back to the main story
@cutty – I really enjoyed the last issue. I look forward to some Bufkin action.
@stuclach – I loved it too, I’m a really big fan of Mister Dark and post-war Fables. The crossover just took me out of it, and its nice to be back on track. I’m most excited to see how Gipetto continues to fit in
@cutty – Gepetto has basically been ignored since the end of the war. I would love to see them do something interesting with him.
@stuchlach – its been so long but i didn’t some of the farm animals take him captive?
@cutty – Oh yeah, I had completely forgotten about that. Didn’t they bury him or something? If so, I can’t wait to see just how pissed he is when he gets out.

This sounds like it could be a really neat arc.
Wow, the best issue of FABLES in a long while. Loved almost every minute of it. 4/5.
That SWEETTOOTH book looks like it could be very interesting as well.

@har13quin – probably! Maybe pick up the last trade and you’re good to go with this issue, I think.
Up until the last few months an entirely different plotline was the thrust of the book, but that ended in issue #75ish and we’ve been following a new story since.
It would probably be better to start from the very beginning and follow it through but hey, 14 trades is a lot of money.
The cleverest thing about this book is that you essentially know all (or most) of the characters already from your childhood so it’s not difficult to jump on at any point. Good luck!
Fables is back. After the crossover I knew it would get back to being great again. Glad it turned out to be true.
I loved it. Fables really is rounding back into form again. I could have done without the liberals crack though.
I’m excited for the Frau vs Baba fight.
