  1. That right there is a comic book I wouldn’t want to be seen buying.

  2. The witchblade one was much much much worse

  3. Is it supposed to be ironic, considering what she’s saying?

  4. If that cover is wrong I don’t want to be right.

  5. So we were talking about sex in comics earlier….

  6. No one has mentioned about adding this to their ‘pull’ list ;o

  7. I see what you did there.

  8. But… but…it’s a really good book! I’ve been picking this up since the beginning and am really enjoying it, despite frequent delays between issues. The art is always fantastic and the characters well-written. The world that these characters is a fascinating one, due in no small part to Starkings’ vision and sci-fi/noir (think Blade Runner) influences.

But yeah, that cover is pretty over the top.

  9. (Richard Starkings runs out of the Image offices)

‘Marian come quick! Someone is actually talking about our comic!!!’

    (Thank you Monty Python)

  10. I like the book and it’s covers like this that make me glad I’ reading it in trade. I’m a prude by no means but c’mon.

  11. I have never read this book but call me a perv, that cover makes me want to buy it and check it out.

  12. Thats some huge thighs.

  13. this is a series that nobody buys that everyone should. The art is so fantastic, the writing is top-noch and that first hardcover for Wounded Animals was one of the best purchases I’ve made over the last couple of years.

  14. This cover’s not so bad.  If anything, it’s being ironic.  Besides, they always put two covers on it, so they can just flip it to the other side.  No biggie.

That said, this has been a great book.  I recommend people to pick it up.  ComiCraft makes a great issue.

  15. Glad to see some people talking about this series.  It and the HipFlask books are great.

  16. The book is great, but I do think all the over the top cheescake done in the book is somewhat tongue-in-cheek.  But only somewhat.
