  1. I can’t pass up Poe by Corben.

  2. That art style just pulls me in.

  3. If it wasn’t for the POTW review by Josh I would never have bought this.

Glad I did because this was absolutely fantastic. Great art by Corben, and I love the mood he sets up in every page. The sequence in the beginning of showcasing the house in fog is the best example of that. The coloring is a bit weird for me though. It didn’t hamper the issue but because Corben did it himself I think that was a bit of a mistake. Oh he does a good job but something about it feels off….Maybe Dave Stewart should have come in to help.

Regardless of some weird coloring choices I feel in love with this. Hope for more of the same when the 2nd issue comes out next month.

    5/5 (POTW)

  4. Thanks ifanboy! Didn’t know this was out ’til I saw it as the POTW. Good stuff!

  5. I was so glad i grab this too, i was looking at the dark horse page for the release date of Mind MGMT 11 and saw this was coming out. My LCS is fairly small and was lucky enough to grab the second to last one they had. Read it last night and can not wait for issue 2.

  6. This was high quality. I should just summarily buy anything Corben draws.
