  1. Loving this story. Can’t wait until the whole band is together and they get to some good action as a team!

  2. I’ve said it before, but I think I like Earth 2 better than the main New 52-niverse.

  3. this has been a really good book so far. Can;t wait for the annual and the Earth 2 Batman. Robinson’s stories have been well paced and very entertaining without featuring wise ass one liners a la Geoff Johns.

  4. What’s this I keep hearing about a new Batman?

  5. This continues to be the little gem of the New 52. Robinson and I have had our ups and downs, but I’m really glad I gave this a shot from the beginning.

Looking forward to seeing Fate in all his insane glory.

When I first saw the Great Beast, it reminded me of Tenacious D’s Satan. Maybe Khalid and Jay should try a rock-off.

    • Yeah, I was actually disappointed in the Great Beast. Robinson has a whole new world to create and all he does is use the standard “demonic beast” look. This part of the story could’ve been so much more.

    • Haha yes! Dave Grohl is guarding the Tower of Fate, he must be stopped. I bet Jay could play some mean speed metal

I totally agree about this being a gem in the New52, I like that I don’t know what to expect storywise, and that Robinson and Scott have their own little sandbox to work with. They aren’t held down by the mainverse’s continuity and developments, for now at least.

  6. I’m in love with this title, both the writing and the art, it’s one of my Top Three New52 books… but I felt this issue was too talky, and overall kind of boring. Too much time spent with Wotan the Windbag. I don’t need to see or hear from him ever again.

    • Wotan the Windbag is an awesome name!

And totally appropriate for this issue – the guy just wouldn’t shut up. He slowed this issue down. The rest was good.
