This book would have been so much better if the individual issues connected with each other in arcs. I’m not saying traditional 5-6 issue TPB arcs – but one issue should set up the next and push the narrative forward. Hell, they could have just used a "road-trip" overarching story. Instead, this book only invests die-hard Deadpool addicts like me and the even rarer Machine-Man and lesser C-lister fans.
God. Dammit. I have yet to drop a shiny nickel on this series, but they know, THEY KNOW, that I can’t resist an Aaron Stack cameo. Crafty bastards.
And there you go: proof that the rare Machine Man lover does still thrive in the wild!
I dunno about thriving… we limp on toward extinction.
Man, other than maybe 2 issues, this series has been a LOT of fun. Toss in Aaron and you have probably the funniest single issue this year!
…on the downside…it makes me miss NExtwave more than I already do.
