DEADPOOL #28

Uh-oh. Sooo…it looks like maybe somebody got talked into doing something for someone who wasn’t who they said they were. And now the person who really is that person is kinda mad. Well, really mad, actually. But that’s okay because Deadpool is totally gonna fix this. Just like he always does.

  1. No one anti-Deadpool is gonna say ‘fuck yeah’ to this cover?

Well I’m a fan of Deadpool and I love this cover. Clearly this team up isn’t gonna end well…

  2. Do his team ups ever end well? Really looking forward to seeing how this one falls apart…

  3. @Genesis: Only with Cable did it end up well…..Or at least tolerable for all involved.

  4. LOVED last issue. And the issue before, with Ghost Rider which ended up being weirdly introspective. Very much looking forward to this.

  5. It’s always good to see the good Doctor! Nice that he’s still around since his days dealing with the Duck!

  6. Very great art in this, some of Barberi’s best. The two page spread at the end with the ‘BONG’ layout was fantastic. Story though was a bit off though, like a lot. The pacing of this issue felt really fast and in the end it feels like I missed a couple of pages. Also, it’s great to see Doctor Bong again but his introduction in this felt uneventful. Easily the weakest issue of Way’s run so far in terms of writing.

    2.5/5

  7. This title is slipping more and more with every issue. I’m getting close to dropping it just like every other Deadpool book.

  8. Is it me or does it feel like Way has no clue as to what to do with this book…?

I want it to be nuts like the Team-Up with Machine Man was.
