  1. After last issue I’m sure this will be great being in the present time.

  2. Anyone else notice Marvel’s already taking the “Now!” logo add-on off their books while 2 years in DC just can’t let that “The New 52!” disappear from their covers???

  3. Watch out for the White Man! He comin’ to get ya!

  4. Why do I have a feeling this is going to be a hilarious issue? Only because I imagine Luke Cage being mighty embarrassed this guy used to be someone he fought in the old days.

  5. I can’t believe we’re already 14 issues into this. Never thought I’d make it that far in a Deadpool run, and each issue is fresher than the last for the most part.

  6. God damn this was fantastic. So close to being POTW if it wasn’t for those darn kids on INFINITY.

This was just funny from start to finish. The guy videotaping ‘The White Man’ had some good zingers, The White Man in general was hilarious, and Luke Cage was predictably angry at everything. Just a wonderful script by Posehn and Duggen. But Koblish’s art was really good too and considering this is not a flashback issue we get to see his chops in a modern sense. I thought that the tiny, fully packed panels would be a hassle but it fit well with the story and we still got some great layouts in this. Luke Cage angry in the beginning or Deadpool high on drugs are a tie for funniest image of the book.

With Declan Shalvey coming up next I can only imagine this book getting better. So happy to see Deadpool come back to life like this and getting a great cast of creators to keep it that way.

    5/5
