  1. The name change and the loss of Walker on art has really hurt this book. It doesnt have the same charge it had before.

    • I know what you mean, didn’t really enjoy last issue but I wanna see happens this week & then we’ll see for next month?!

    • ”I wanna see ‘WHAT’ happens”, illiterate dumb-ass that I am!

    • Agreed. I own issues 1-181, but no longer care to pick up this book. I don’t really mind the name change if it was ONLY a name change, but it seems like the comic is shifting towards something I don’t care to read at all, and possibly completely dropping all the characters I like in favor of the new Dark Avengers team in the coming issues.

Below average to bad artwork, confused mess of a story, focus on characters I don’t like, lack of entertainment… Sadly added to my drop list.

  2. Neil Edwards? Yes, please.

I’m sticking with this and getting the new Thunderbolts, too.

Although they are going to get to #200 and my jumping-off point faster this way.

    😉

  3. Seeing Parker’s whole Thunderbolts team on the cover ready to kick ass makes me smile.

It sucks to see them go and I’m not sure if I’ll stick with the new direction but I’m curious to see what Parker’s hook is for the new Dark Avengers team.

    • I’m giving his Dark team a few issues to see where they lead, but it really is a knife to the heart for those of us who loved seeing Luke Cage put together this ragtag group of Underbolts. Right here is a fantastic example of great character writing, regardless of popularity. I now care about this team and will look forward to them in any form in the future.

    • The Underbolts are a good example of why it’s best to give the Dark Avengers team a shot. Boomerang, Centurius, Hyde and Troll were all basically blank slates when they were recruited as the secondary team way back. Then we got to see them grow into interesting characters and mesh with the rest of the cast. I view Toxie Doxie, Clor, Spider-God guy and Baby Hawkeye the same way. Hopefully they’ll have similarly interesting arcs.

This issue, by the way, was great. It was satisfying to see the Thunderbolts team go full on hero (in their own way). My only complaint would be the art. Neil Edwards overall does a good job but some of his characters are off model and I do miss the styles of Walker and Shalvey.

  4. I’m out. Loss of Walker, the time-lost team and the Thunderbolts name is too much. And I won’t be buying the new Thunderbolts. Marvel Now indeed!

  5. I am sad to see the old team go but I am really excited to see what’s in store for the Dark Avengers. Toxie Doxie = awesome. As masterful as Jeff Parker is with a large cast, I do think it’s time to focus on the one team.

  6. Here’s the deal Marvel, I was that belt buckle Luke is wearing
