The conclusion to this mini is very bitter sweet because it’s been SO good but I really want to know that mopone is all about. This will be one of those classic Daredevil stories. Great cover, too.
My thoughts exactly. Also, the Mack and Sienkiewicz variants are gorgeous, it’ll be a tough choice of which one to grab.
I’ve been buying this each month and not reading it – waiting to do it all in one go
It’s been so tempting to pick up and read with all the great reviews it has been getting

So freaking good.
Wow, this was a fantastic coda to the series. I enjoyed it so much, I might sit down this weekend and read the whole thing through. It started out pretty somber, but I was smiling by the end. Definitely a story I’ll recommend to any fan of Ol’ Hornhead.
How do people like this ending?
Specifically how do they feel about finding out what Mapone is?
I loved it.
This was outstanding! I think a full read through is called for now. In answer to phess- I liked it very much. It might have been nice to learn more about the events surrounding Mapone’s origin and why it broke Matt up so much, especially in light of those last few panels. Either way, this was a wonderful sendoff for the character and a lovely way to end the series.
Was she supposed to be Matt and Millies daughter or was she the child of somebody else? I was confused with that.

Seeing as how she introduces herself as Mapone Romanova and the picture seems to be of her with Matt and Natasha Romanova/Romanoff (aka Black Widow), I take it she was their daughter.
Ahhhh I get it now that actually makes perfect sense. I thought she was Black Widow at first .That’s really cool.
When we found out what Mapone meant, I thought it was executed pretty flawlessly. Without a doubt my POTW.
Can’t wait for a full read. Probably do it this weekend.
I’m not much of a Daredevil fan but I really enjoyed this. Especially the Punisher characterization. The reveal of Mapone was a let down. I didn’t see the big deal in it or why it would make Bullseye go crazy. I thought Bullseye had it in for Elektra not the Black Widow.
As I was reading this I was worried that it wasn’t going to “Stick” the landing. Sorry, terrible pun, I know. But I have to say this was very satisfying! It all wrapped up nicely. And now I know too that Peter Parker is going to be alright in the end after all that Dr. Octopus has done. And somehow Nick Fury is still white after all. Not that it matters. Okay, maybe this takes place in the Marvel Then! universe. But it’s still going to be a worthy trade sitting next to my Frank Miller graphic novels!
