  1. Not a knock against this book, but how many “final” daredevil stories have there been?

  2. I really dug the first issue, looking forward to more. That cover is eerie, I don’t know why, maybe the expressionless face.

  3. almost lost my lunch over the first issue. hope Bendis and company return to the glory days of Bendis and Maleev’s fantastic run. wishful thinking, perhaps.

  4. dat cover

  5. Wow great issue again!……Hope the quality stays for the whole series and def picking up the trade for my bookshelf……Part of me wishes Miller was a part of this but its probably a good thing hes not haha.

  6. This could be long and drawn out OR it might end up making everyone want more after it is over. I’m hoping for the latter. So far it is engrossing and a great adventure to read.

  7. Melodramatic. Overblown. I hope I’m not still using these words by the end of this series. But for now… yes.

  8. I really like this! Good job Bendis!

  9. disappointing. Ben Urich and Bendis have never been this boring. Klaus sucks. there. i said it. looking at his panels is like having serious dental work done with no drugs. maybe if i took drugs and read this, i would like it. but doubtful.

the positive response to this from some of you guys: baffling. but i’m happy some people like it. maybe you’re masochists. i’m cool with that.

if i’m smart, i’ll stop hoping for Bendis/DD from 10 yrs ago and just drop this NOW! but, i’ve been a nastalgia seeking-bleeding heart in the past. Be strong, Sitara, be strong.
