  1. That’s a good cover by Samnee. I miss when Rivera does them but once in a while Samnee delivers a good cover.

  2. I hope there’s some more info on the “Brooklyn born and raised” dialogue from last issue – it left me scratching my head a bit.

  3. I can’t believe I’ve been reading this for 2 years!

  4. I’m about a dozen issues behind in reading this.

Got a nice pile ready for that perfect weekend.

  5. My god does Mark Waid know how to craft a comic book. I don’t know anybody in superhero comics at the moment who characterises better than him. Everything is so natural and the dialogue between Matt and Foggy masterfully portrays the everlasting friendship between the two.

    Best superheros on the shelves.

  6. This is a weird villain even for Mark Waid! But I like how Waid is pretty much putting that to the side and focusing more on the Murdock/Foggy relationship. I don’t know how dramatic he’s gonna make this but he really is doing a great job bonding these two. Samnee’s art was a bit rough, but nothing as bad as we saw in the Superior Spider-Man issue. I think sometimes the coloring by Rodriguez doesn’t mesh well with Samnee. Not saying Rodriguez is bad because he ain’t. Just think Samnee’s pencils/inks are too heavy for the colors sometimes.

    4/5

  7. I think my favorite issues of this series are the ones where there is no, or little spotlight on villains. This is one of those issues, and it’s terrific, even though nothing much actually progressed in the story.

  8. What can I say? This series just keeps knocking it out of the park month after month.

  9. As usual, 5/5 for story, 3/5 for art.

  10. The perfect issue. Best book on the shelves, every month.

  11. This latest arc has been so good. Glad the art has been consistent. The only time this title has waned in quality was when there were a few fill in artists or a different penciller due to a crossover.

  12. Good issue but I will be happy when the cancer story arc is done. I read comics to escape RL.
