  1. That’s a good cover by Pham, hopefully that’s a good sign for what’s inside this issue.

  2. I hope DD takes them all out one organization at a time or at least to the point where they want to give up to DD and then leave him be. They really need to cut their loses and leave DD along from now on.

  3. This megacrime storyline really has to come to a conclusion soon. I’m just not into this. Plus, thanks to Ron (?), the bling really looks silly around his neck like that when he’s fighting. Can’t he roll it up and put it down his boot?

On a positive note, 3rd issues of DD in 4 weeks!?!?! Insane!

  4. I’m a little late but I just wanted to say I read the first arc of this series and it made absolutely no sense.

The defense knows the prosecution is hearing voices and rather they just saying that on the first day of the trail, they keep it secret and never bring it up.

I don’t think I’m being petty. I don’t expect it to be 100% legally accurate but I do expect it to have a basic knowledge of justice systems in general.

  5. Jumping on.

  6. It’s hard to see why some people turn a blind eye to this series. We can talk until we are red in the face about how great Waid’s Daredevil run has been, but unless they try it, we’ll continue to have a devil of a time convincing them.

  7. Hoping for good things.

    I really dug Samnee’s art.

Not as big a fan of Pham.

    We’ll see.

  8. Drawing my own conclusion here, but I guess it’s safe to say Khoi is now part of the Daredevil Phamily?

    Great cover!

  9. That was exactly what I wanted! Daredevil has turned into the book I read first every week it comes out.

  10. This was a good issue. Pham’s art was better than his work in 10.1 and there was tons of plot progression for everyone who’s been waiting for the Omega drive business to get to the next chapter. Also, lots of surprising twists that made me go back to the end of the previous issue, before rereading this one, and it all makes total sense in retrospect. Fun times.

  11. I think it is now safe to say that this is going to go down as one of the greatest DD runs. Fan-freaking-tastic.

  12. Another solid issue. I’m glad they not only wrapped up the Omega Drive thread for the time being, but did it in a creative way that I did not see coming. I love how the first thing Matt does when he sees the Avengers is bitch them out for being late. Wolverine’s like “Whatevs. How bout that backfist?” Awesome.

Pham is not my favorite, but I liked his art on this one better than the .1 issue. He just can’t do the radar vision, and it jolts me out of it every time. But that’s a nitpick. Lookin forward to three issues of Samnee followed by some Allred. This book can double ship all it wants.

    Also … DOOM!!!!

  13. Wow… Had to go back and read #12. DD keep it going.

  14. Awesome ending, really looking forward to next issue (as always)

  15. Avatar photo tripleneck (@tripleneck) says:

    What’s in that drawer, Foggy?????!!!!

  16. Next issue: Samnee draws DOOM! AHHHHHH!

  17. Fantastic Flav? Flava Four?

  18. the art on this one sucked big, floppy donkey dick. instead of giving us three issues in one month, they could have slowed down the pace a bit and insured a quality book from top to bottom. but i guess it was more important to give us crap art and a great story for that additional three bucks. nine bucks in one month’s time and a third of the product was, i found to be, unsatisfactory.
luckily, the art detail looks glorious for the next couple of months. so i guess i’m not to upset. i just hate it when shitty art manages to bring down great storytelling.
    3/5

  19. Daredevil #13 rocked! The opening sequence with Foggy Nelson was almost an Alfred Hitchcock moment. Daredevil’s resolution to his Omega Drive problem was creative and fun, and the cliffhanger was eerie. Khoi Pham’s pencils are not as good as Paolo Rivera’s, but he did a great job keeping the art consistent and seamless.

  20. I am way behind on reading my comics lately, just finished this yesterday. I thought the Avengers possing as the villians and Wolverine’s cold cock to DD’s face was funnier then hell at the end when you find out that it was really Wolvie and not a real villian. I will agree with my freind @sitara119; the artwork was so minor league compared to the previous issues. At some points I really thought it hurt the story because, this could have been one heck of an issue with some great artwork; I mean maybe even classic good. BUT NOOOOOOooooooo!
