what a cover
I loved Who is Jake Ellis, but The Activity is losing me. I’ll buy at least the first issue.
I agree, WIJE? was great but The Activity is pretty bad. Dropped it after 3 or 4 issues out of boredom. I always buy Image #1s though so let’s see how this is.
Is this a Mini-series?
Yup, 5 issue mini.
Though it doesn’t say 1 of 5 on the cover so it might be the same deal as books like WIJE? and Green Wake where 5 issues were planned and if it does well enough another arc will be done etc. Who knows!
This was good, until the last 3 pages, when it was excellent.

Would have been my pick of the week if not for Saga.
It was quite a bit like WIJE? Guy on the run and he’s not sure why. It was good and I’ll definitely pick up #2 but I’m starting to wonder if the only good stuff Edmondson can write are chase scenes.
This was my off the rack pick up this week based on art alone that caught my eye. I could not be happier that I grabbed it! Definitely the second best book I read this week and I am now entirely in for the run. Great art, solid story, interesting, intriguing… yes please!
I was definitely pleasantly surprised with this. Didn’t plan on picking it up, but glad I did. Haven’t finished my stack yet, but this is in the running for my POTW, for sure!
