Finally! Every issue feels like it takes years to come out.
Good things come to those that wait.
The wait is worth it though, every time.
Although considering we’re the only two people commenting on the book that might not be a good sign…
Hey, I love this book too! Easily in my top three.
I’m also super pumped for this book. It does seem like it has been a while, but too excited to care. Never have to worry about the Quality here.
Really great issue. The continuous two page sequence in the beginning was the highlight. Not sure where that’s going with Mason but it’s damn pretty to see him have visions. But the story is pretty good too.

Chew, Chew, I Llove you.
For the first time in this book, I found myself kinda lost. I was unclear what happened to the Earth. Was it part of the story reality or a farce. I found the transition jumpy and disparate. I’m reminded of Spencer’s, Morning Glories, and how we keep getting more and more mysteries hoisted upon us without closure of a previous daunting one. A little frustrating this fire in the sky as well as that mystery plant that substitutes for chicken. What’re the origins? where are we going? how does it all tie in?
You were one of those “Are we there yet?” kids, weren’t you?
Relax, we’re only a third of the way through this ride. We haven’t even gotten to the good part yet.
This is by far the best on going book at Image, bar none. TWD has it’s moments, but, Chew is always great.
Have to say i’m getting quite annoyed with lack of digital support for this! A few months ago they were coming out digitally same day as print, then the last 2 months not even available digitally. I want to give them my money but they wont let me.
Sorry, bud. Definitely not a perfect science yet. But the next trade, collecting the last 5 issues, is out next month.
