CATWOMAN #4

Catwoman pays a call on Wayne Manor, but those who live there prefer that you call first.

Then Selina Kyle says goodbye to an old friend, says hello to an older one, and resolves more firmly than ever to strike out on her own.

Only one of those things almost gets her killed.

  1. YAY! Go ahead, be negative all you want! No one will ever diminish my love for this book.

Well I guess technically Winnick could if something goes awry….

  2. Been enjoying this series a lot so far, can’t wait to read this issue! 🙂

  3. I don’t give to craps about what anybody says about this title being “sexist”. Winick has been doing a great job at deconstructing Selina.

  4. It’s fun reading this book. Looking forward to this issue.

  5. This is on my top 5 new 52 books. LOVE THIS!

  6. Wait a second, Judd Winick’s writing this? When does Catwoman get feline AIDS?

  7. The first issue of this had Catwoman acting like a Catwoman that I really didn’t want anything to do with. However, seeing as how she went through that traumatic event with her friend getting pretty brutally murdered, I’m curious to see if this is going to change her character to the Selina we all know and love.

    • See, in my view the Catwoman from the first issue was also the Selina we all know and love.

    • Perhaps I’m relying too much on Brubaker’s and Pfeifer’s vision of her, but I always thought of Selina as more…I don’t know…collected and less impulsive than what we’ve seen so far.

    • I think all that calm, cool and collected stuff goes out the window when you find one of your friends beaten to death while tied to a chair.

    • @comicBOOKchris: Catwoman is, by definition, impulsive. She’s a thief. She can’t stop herself from taking what she wants, no matter the consequences.

    • To me, issue one was the shock-jock “welcome to the new 52” issue which showed us what we all figured was happening behind the scenes for years. It got a lot of attention for the new series, which has been REALLY good!

  8. Catwoman has been awesome for me, last issue the torment and pain she had gone through! I like the way this is going and will be a main stay on my pull list as long as it wants!

  9. Did the cover for this get changed at some point? I thought the gate had Wayne Manor on it somewhere.

  10. Catwoman is a piece of work! This book is fiiled with action and drama in every issue. I gave it a 5 and almost took me by suprise and made me rethink my POW.
