  1. Nocenti’s writing is painful. I tried to get through #15 and 16 this week, and couldn’t finish #15.
    Bad, bad, bad.
Let’s all paint our nails and then steal some jewels, mmkay?
    Um, no.

    • Yes, it actually hurts to read this book. I thought Catwoman #14 was so terrible I can’t bear to think of reading this book with Nocenti on it ever again.

I liked Katana #1 that she wrote somehow (extremely low expectations?) but disliked issue 2 and gave up on it quickly. I have never read any of her old Marvel stuff, but I certainly have no interest in putting myself through that suffering anytime soon.

  2. I remember when this title used to get 300-400 plus pulls. DC has gotta see sooner or later that its time for a writer/artist change. Hopefully before cancelopolous re-duex

  3. I left when the book got ugly and boring, if they fix it i’ll come back. World’s Finest needs a new writer also maybe Michael Alan Nelson.

  4. I’m in for the JLA bits, then out again.

Loved the first 6 to 8 issues of this series.

  5. This title isn’t as good as the first 12 issues were of course but those are hard to measure up too. I’m still really enjoying this title.
