Clayton Crain’s glossy smooth art was made for Carnage. The symbiot looks oily and slick in a creepy way that fits the character perfectly.
@dgazzuolo i agree completely. I like how it fits on spider-man too. He maximizes the sleek look that an agile character like spidey (and carnage) should have!
This is the best Spider-Man mini currently being published. Last issue was 5 star. Though issue #1 started slow, so if you haven’t kept up, you need to get back on.
I wasn’t thrilled with this issue. I didn’t like that Carnage just absorbed all this stuff and changed colors to look pretty much exactly like supergirth-venom. o well. Still a beautiful mini with one issue left to leave us wow’d.
Great series, the right artist the coloring sometimes muddies the artwork to much.
