  1. Fun series but I need a little more in terms of story.

  2. Whats the deal with you people? This needs more pulls. People are complaining all the time about how Marvel dosent let anyone change there characters or take them in different directions. Well Kelly Sue DeConnick is doing that right now!
And the arts great! Dexter Soy is both Unique AND Fresh! GO CAPTAIN MARVEL!!!

  3. Well, I’m pulling it and enjoying it but only mildly. I disagree about the art, although I think it’s been improving or it’s been growing on me. It just has a lot of BUTS about it. As in, I like the costume BUT it’s true the helmet thing is ridiculous. The supporting cast is fine BUT could be more distinctive. The time-travel story is great BUT it pulls Carol out of interacting with the modern Marvel U…. etc. I don’t think the first issue was a critical and popular slam-dunk like, say, Waid’s Daredevil relaunch, and there’s a lot of catch up the book will have to make. If this storyline drags on too much past issue 4, I’ll probably end up dropping it. It’s make or break time this issue!

  4. I’m loving the time travel storyline (An all women Howling Commandos built out of the WASPs? Brilliant!), the art… not so much. The costume I like but I agree with monkeyking, the helmet needs work.

  5. I should start reading this.

Piled up the first few issues.

  6. Decent comic, but if money gets tight, I could drop it and not really miss it.

    3/5

  7. PS: I am a sucker for books with covers that have word balloons on them!

  8. The story is dragging a little bit, but it was a good issue overall. I still believe that the purpose of this story is making Carol retroactively the first Captain Marvel. Love Dexter Soy’s artwork, but the shared art duties are not sitting well with me.
