  1. Wait… The trial’s almost over? Has it even started?

  2. guh, i’m a couple issues behind and i just dont care. I was excited at first, but without reading it in a couple months, this may be my first walk away from cap since i started reading comics.

  3. Yea, this seems to have lost some momentum after a promising start with Acuna’s issue, but still looking forward to this.

  4. I actually really dug last issue, and I’m looking quite forward to this one.

  5. I like this arc. I love Bucky Cap, but i’ll be the first to admit that the concept has lost a bit of its smolder. I am however pleased that they’re doing this. Now that everything has calmed down from the H.A.M.M.E.R. fiasco, this totally makes sense. Granted, there hasn’t been as much Cap ass kicking but every character needs a break from those kinds of arcs lest they become too one dimensional and wither away like Luke Cage or Iron Fist.

Like I said, I like this arc, but I’m far from loving it.

  6. Captain America is in the same place as Iron Man with me right now…I used to love it and now it’s just so so. For me, ever since Epting left there have only been a few issues I’ve enjoyed as much as original Brubaker /Epting run. I have a feeling that Steve Rogers will be back as Cap just so they can align to the movie. If that happens and they get a good, solid consistent art team I will keep reading. Otherwise I am done. I like Bucky but I feel like it’s run it’s course.

My choices for art duties (of artists I have seen work with Brubaker) if we can’t have Epting:
    Michael Lark / David AJA
Mike Perkins with Bettie Breitweiser on colors
or Butch Guice inking himself with Bettie Breitweiser on colors

  7. @Franktiger – couldn’t agree more about Acuna, his art really took the book to the level it needs to be at….that being said, I find myself continuing to pull this.

  8. I think I’m on til the end of the arc and then saying goodbye. Its not bad just not my thing. And the art in the backup is still terrible to me.

  9. Guice>Acuna for me.  But that’s subjective.

This arc also continues to reinforce how utterly retarded the MU public is.  Hey! “Leaked” video of a mass murderer is going to used as evidence in a court case!  Prison guards will automatically believe her over Captain America!  This arc really strains credulity.

  10. Andybmcd, Guice certainly turned in a good looking issue here, I think the inking team jibed with his style.  Also agree with your gullibility of the Marvel public comment…but I think I like the idea of how the press is being played.  Wonder how Steve fits into the resolution of the plotline here?

  11. We obviously have a new Red Skull on our hands I think, but Master Man will obviously be superhero fodder.

  12. Guadiano on inks was amazing
