“HOMECOMING,” CONCLUSION This is it. The conclusion of the time-hopping action thriller launched in the pages of “Messiah CompleX.” After hopping around New York City in the past and near future, Cable and Hope are closer than ever to the present…which means that Bishop is more desperate than ever to stop them. No more hiding. No more plots. No more weapons. It’s coming down to mutant vs. mutant in the subterranean tunnels of New York, and only one of them will make it back to Westchester alive. You will not want to miss this issue, which leads directly into the X-MEN: SECOND COMING crossover.

Pulls
So is this the last issue?
No, there’s one left called Deadpool and Cable #25. I can’t wait for this series to fucking finish.
Fuck Deadpool!
Get to drop this then. Woohoo!
No they have a six issue miniseries called Homecoming: Revelations 1-6 which continues on a final one-shot crossover conclusion with X-force titled Homecoming: Revelations Messiah War Rebirth!
@Mangaman Ow. That hurt both my brain and my pocketbook. Just as long as they provide some sort of resolution to the Bishop character and then ship him off where I don’t have to see him for awhile. Since they have remade him to mirror Cable, let’s send him off to the future to fight Apocalypse. Then he can come back in a year covered in pockets and ammo clips.
At least this issue won’t end with Bishop hiding in the bushes with a gun
I hope something comes of this issue. I enjoyed it, but lately it’s gotten jokey.
@cutty You don’t know that for certain!
@prax
yeah I’ve tired of it.
@Mangaman: HAHAHA!!!
Is Duane writing that mini?
@mike-Mangaman’s joking.
@cutty Does that mean that Bishop was the guy in the grassy knoll?
Really "Hope" something happens to close this out with a bang.
@rockingeek ahh. It’s hard to tell
@mike- after this issue Cable and Hope fall into the Second Coming mega crossover. #25 takes place before Messiah Complex, it will show what happen in Cooperstown between Cable, the Purifiers and the Marauders, when Hope was born. And I’m not joking, apparently Deadpool was there????
@rockingeek seriously? A story two years too late featuring an unwanted and over exposed character? Ugh.
Check the solicit for #25:

I feel like marvel has a slow learning curve.
Currently I’m working on a mini comic I’m to hand in before finals and so I’ve got my roster of characters and I already know I’m not heading in a direction very much like this comic.
Deadpool inserted right into the heart of Messiah Complex? Head meet hand. Smack.
This book is what got me back into comics two years ago. Mostly due to the Areil Olivetti art but all in all this has been a painfully drawn out run. I’m glad its about to be over.
I’m excited for the Deadpool reunion.
Again it’s going more with the ‘we will force Deadpool onto you’ shlock Marvel has been doing. But for once putting him in with Cable is the right thing. Cable & Deadpool was a fan favorite for many years before they split them up.
I came into this series at… I think 21 or 22. That was good timing because just when I started to feel the repetition, it was over.
Not sure if I’ll get the last issue. I don’t really have a thing against Deadpool, I just don’t care about him.
Now SECOND COMING in 3 weeks.
This felt clunky and rushed, like it was written by a first time comics writer. I can’t help but wonder if Duane was forced to stretch what could have easily been 12 issue into 24 and then realized that he had to get it to where this book ends at the last minute
For a cable book I kinda liked the art. From the middle and onward at least. That one page at 6700 AD had PHENOMINAL reds. That page vindicated me purchasing this issue. I hope they do a call back to that date since Bishop is stuck there whenever they need him to come back.
First trade was awesome and I started to pick this book up in issues. But this got way too stretched out in the end. SHould have been a nice and tight (that’s what she said) 12 issue maxi series.
No only does Deadpool get inserted right into Messiah Complex, he gets top billing?!?!
I paid 3.99 for this shit art? UGH.
