  2. @misterckent

    Me too, weird.

  3. You did :/

    Random cover variants maybe?

  4. this cover makes me angry, no one lights a cigarette like that

  5. Only three parts?

  6. No clue who Jonathan Vankin is.

  7. John Constantine, Zatanna, and Swamp Thing??  I’m in.

  8. Vankin was/is a Vertigo editor iirc.

  9. more exctied for justice league dark, but will pick this up too

  10. @RoiVampire

    I hear you. That’s weird.

  11. Aw man, I bought this assuming John Constantine sans cursing would be the worst thing about it.  But did someone say Hawkman’s in it???  Aw crud.

  12. I wasn’t sure what to expect out of this, but I REALLY enjoyed it. I like having Constantine back in the DCU. He didn’t feel out of place, or that he’d been out of the DCU at all. Potw for me

  13. @themanagement  Hawkman’s not in it. Neither is Superman, for that matter.

  14. The crappy dialogue would not allow me to really read this. I had to go back and just look at the pictures (which were okay at best) to get the plot.

  15. Let me confess – although I am somewhat familiar with the character, I’ve never read any Constantine. So I don’t know if the characterization or dialogue was way off or not. But I actually liked this quite a bit. I thought the art was quite good. I really liked the way the Green and Zatanna were done. The style is pretty realistic. The story was entertaining and made me want to see what happens, so I’ll be back for the next issue.

  16. The dialogue felt like an American trying to write British lingo, and that’s coming from a Canadian.  Batman was way off target too, as it sounded like Bruce, but dressed like Dick, so not sure which one it was supposed to be.  Not going to be getting the next one, that’s for sure.  I’ll wait for Snyder’s Swamp Thing #1 thanyouverymuch.

  17. No smoking in the vehicle!!!! Lol
