YOUNG AVENGERS #1
February 1, 2013 1:28 am I havent finished reading the issue yet but I will say this: once I saw that Noh-Varr was listening to "Be My Baby," I went back, read the opening scene while listening to the song and it makes that 2 page spread fucking perfect.

UNCANNY X-FORCE #1
January 27, 2013 12:24 am I had no expectations for this one and almost passed on it. im glad i didnt because this was fantastic. Funny how growing up I didn't care about Storm (mohawk or not), Psylocke or Bishop at all, but I'm really excited to see this team develop. Garney's art is beautiful and Puck looks like a dwarven Canadian Iron Sheik, which is cool. I'm sold.

SAVAGE WOLVERINE #1
January 20, 2013 11:48 pm I tried it and for the most part dug it. Cho's art is beautiful and his story is decent. The only thing that really bothered me was Shanna's design. She looks wonderful and I get that that is her costume but, come on, I felt like giving her a jacket. Not sure if I'll stick with this; not really for me.

FRANKENSTEIN, AGENT OF S.H.A.D.E. #16
January 20, 2013 11:28 pm Not a bad issue but I wish that it would've had more a "finale" feel to it. I've loved this book throughout its run and am sad to see it go. I was happy to see Frankenstein would be joining JLD but even with him as s member, the book has lost my interest and dropped it. So long, Frankie.
Also...didn't Velcoro die in issue #14??

iFlashback! October 29th, 2003
October 29, 2012 3:36 pm Caper was about two brothers who grow up to be the Jewish mafia's go-to guys and naturally things start going sour. It was great although to be honest, I only read Daltymple's arc; beautiful stuff. I think the second part of the arc took place in old school Hollywood or something.

October 15, 2012 10:30 pm I get this is about low sales, but Frankenstein doesn't belong on the cut list. I've been enjoying it since issue 1.

July 5, 2012 10:04 pm That is so badass. I've been a fan of hers for years and it's great to see her getting these gigs. Her and Snyder are a fantastic team up I never even knew I wanted.

TEASER: Yet more FOUR!
August 11, 2011 11:47 am I'm so glad to see Farel Dalrymple's name attached to this. That guy doesn't get nearly enough work.
