  1. Beautiful art and a story that is not part of the big DC storyline. I wish more books were like this, small arcs and easy to jump on with

  2. Yeah, I jumped on at the beginning of this arc, and it’s been fantastic.  More people should be reading this.

  3. I am happy to add my voice to the chorus forming here–David Hine has written a great story in this Brave and the Bold arc.  I’m a Marvel-ite myself, unfamiliar with all of the DCU’s various Crises, but like Superchuck, was able to follow the characters very naturally.  Pick it up! Heck, get the back issues too if you haven’t been following the story; it’s only $2.99!

  4. I may have to re-read this story over again to really get it, but other than that, no biggie.  Again, a story about the human spirit (and it’s power to forgive) being greater than other alien races ability to understand it.  But what really got me was the Next Issue blurb:  Dial H for Hero?   And what they mean by "coming soon" instead of "in 30 days"?

  5. This arc was great. Mr. Hine is the man.

  6. I have to agree with ChuckEnigma, while I enjoyed this book, it didn’t feel all that special. It won’t be something I return to. And GA’s inclusion was token at best. Never was a big Hine fan, though. Still a good read.
