  1. Mildly curious to see if Robinson does more with Earth-2 Superman, the images of whom were big in pumping up Blackest Night. The repercussions of a dead Damage do not interest me in the least.

  2. Really enjoyed last issue, interested to see where this one goes.

  3. I’m not sure I understood the first one as I’m largely unfamiliar with the details of the characters.  but, here we go again

  4. I don’t know if it’s event fatigue (which admittedly, I am getting a -little- of) or what, but the last issue was really disappointing.  I’ll give this one a flip through before I make a decision.  That being said, I probably forgot to erase the little check next to this on my pre-order sheet…

  5. Blackest Night has been the only event that I have not experienced event fatigue during… and I’ve read pretty much every tie-in. Robinson has been on fire with these, Superman, JSA, Starman, and JLA have all been fantastic.

  6. I love the formula they’re using for this series. However, I’m not entirely sure why so many of the Black Lanterns seem able to break their programming in the books coming out this month. (Osiris. Jesse Quick. Damage.) Enjoyable, but nothing really mind-blowing. 3/5

  7. I rather doubt Jesse Quick and Damage broke their programming.

  8. @Noto Umm… didn’t Damage do it right at the climax of the issue? (And I meant Johnny Quick. 🙂 )

  9. But Mr. Terrific said at the end that Damage only blew himself up to clear a path to Kal-L… right?

  10. @skeet Did he? Now I’m not so sure. I should go read it over…

  11. Did I miss something or wasn’t Kal-L & Lois back in the Superman mini? And this can’t take place before it since Damage is already dead and his death was the one to put the Black Lanterns at 100%.

  12. You missed nothing. This is the sequel to the Superman mini. The JSA are the ones who ended up with the depowered body of Kal-L. Turns out, not a great gig to have.
