This was actually good! Considering my feelings on the last issue, this one stepped up the JSA mini to a level where I cared about the characters again. Robinson seems to be the only one who can use the Black Lanterns as a psychological attack effectively lately, and he does not dissapoint with this issue as it tugs at your heartstrings and then rips them out.

The art on this was fantastic. Especially when it comes to the facial expressions of the Black Lanterns as that’s needed to sell what they’re trying to project to our heroes.

While this was short, it certainly got my attention and renewed my hopes in this mini.

Story: 3 - Good
