  1. I’ll give this a look in the shop and decide.  It sounds promising, but I’m a bit hesitant.

  2. James Robinson back on JSA should be a lot of fun. Plus I’m always excited to visit my favorite super-hero team.

  3. yeah, im gonna wait to see what the ifanbase says after it’s been out a couple days. I’m really hesitant for some reason.

  4. I purchased every major blackest night story so far, but im going to skip this. Maybe because I’ve never read a JSA story before and the characters dont interest me at all.

  5. If James Robinson wasn’t writing this, even if it was some guy I’ve never heard of, I’d definitely buy this. His recent DC work has left me with ZERO faith in him. Can’t buy it.

  6. @wade: i see what you are saying but i think robinson is invested in the jsa. afterall, he started (kind of) current version of the title and starman dealt heavily with the character’s too.

  7. maybe next issue gets better. But this was not really exciting at all. It was more of the same thing.

  8. I thought this was great. Robinson has been killing it on all his Blackest Night work.

  9. Wow… that was… I think that was enough for me…  I’ll admit that I have no real connection to JSA, but I didn’t have one for Wonder Woman, and that first issue was awesome.  That opening sequence where they were downloading the memories just seemed to drag on too long.  I actually flipped ahead to make sure the entire book wasn’t like that.

Three nitpicks: 1) On the cover, Liberty Belle’s body just kinda stops below the boobs.  2) There’s a panel where the person is green and the ring is saying "love."  3) Power Girl refers to Kal-L as both her cousin and her uncle.  I didn’t know Krypton had a Deep South.

I take it Liberty Belle stops being Jesse Quick?

  10. That was better than I thought it would be.  I like Mr. Terrific and enjoy the role he plays in the more mystic storylines.
