Normally, I don’t have a bad word to say about these Blackest Night Mini’s because the stories usually support them. This issue, however, hasn’t supported anything other than this wasn’t necessary. And to top it all off, there is an error here that has Power Girl calling Kal-L of Earth Two here uncle.

Will I be picking up the rest of this mini? Unless they do something that hasn’t been done before, I’m going to say no.

    Not only does Power Girl say he was her uncle, but a couple panels before that she says he was her cousin.

    Well, this is supposed to be the Earth-2 Superman, so it is her cousin because I believe Power Girl is still from Earth-2. Another odd thing, the costumes. These are supposed to be Blackest Lantern Psycho Pirate and Earth-2 Superman, right? Then why are they in their normal costumes.

    The BL costumes are part of the black power rings, much like the Green Lanterns.  Since the rings were destroyed in BN: Superman, the costumes disappeared.

    As for the uncle/cousin thing, I was merely pointing out the inconsistency.  My guess is Robinson put uncle twice, an editor fixed one and didn’t catch the other.
