  1. I’m actually really liking this series.  I hope it lasts longer than "Doctor Voodoo".

  2. @zattaric, Me too, could be my favorite thing coming out of Marvel at the moment. Surprised to find I don’t mind Acuna’s art, never much been a fan of it before.

  3. its a real shame that more people are not picking this up. I would agree with bigsime22, possibly my favourite series coming out of marvel atm and its only issue 3!

  4. @bigsime22 i totally agree about the art

  5. I heard in a news story somewhere that this creator team is done after six issues, but the series will continue.

  6. The new creative team will be Duane Swierczynski/Manuel Garcia.

  7. I’m enjoying the series.  I started picking it up mainly because I love Acuna but I’ve been impressed by Marjorie Liu also.  I’m definitely looking forward to her X-23 series now.  A recent interview made it sound like she just didn’t have the time to co-write Daken and write X-23 and Black Widow all at once.  Oh well, the nice thing is seeing where Acuna will wind up next.  Not sure if I’ll keep getting this when the creative team changes.  I think I’ll give it at least an issue.

  8. hmmm, I tried the first and thought it was ok…

I’ll see in the shop is they have 2 and 3 and make a decision.

  9. You should definately try issue 2, I probably wont get issue 3 till next week but number 2 really sealed the deal for me in terms of picking up this book on an on going basis. You have to like Acuna, who seems to be an aquired taste, but besides the art this story feelsgreat to me.

  10. One of my draws to this book was that there was a female writer writing a strong female lead.  I was curious to see how the tone of the book might be different with her perspective.  I’ve found that Liu is a strong writer and not because of in spite of the fact that she’s a woman.  She’s just a good writer.  I’ll definitely be looking for her further work.
