  1. Needless to say a very underated title as well. all the Batbooks have now become equally awesome and keep you on the edge of your seat.

  2. While the other titles seem very 2011/12, I like that this book is more classic, with the villains more in the forefront.

    • You mean like Batman? Last issue Batman dropped an unconscious Croc on a car from 2 high, almost killing new ‘baaad’ cop Forbes and unneccesarily destroying property, for no apparent but to seem cool and intimidating.

And I know Forbes is a baaaad cop because he’s very hysterical and crazy, I’m glad Finch and Jenkins are reminding me everytime Forbes opens his mouth. It ain’t exactly subtle.

And do they need to introduce a new love interest for every new Batman storyline? It’s kind of hard to be all angst and pain if you’re rich, handsome, have cool friends and gadgets, and on top of that have sex with gorgeous women every other issue. I mean, there’s was that thing in Catwoman, and that reporter that looked like Lois in Detective comics, and the playboy bunny and the girl he met at the charity.

Sorry for being a negative Nancy!

This issue stars Poison Ivy which means tits and ass-shots…. err… I mean female empowerment!

    • That cover is great, but the series hasn’t impressed me.

    • That was supposed to be a general response, not a reply to your comment in specific. Sorry.

    • @Midgardserpent. That’s some funny sh**. Too bad we didn’t actually getbtonsee any “empowerment” in this issue. Like I said on the Superman thread, this is fun without depth. Not a keeper on the pull list, but fun for an arc.

  3. I like how each Batman title has it’s own unique flavor. This title may not pull in the critical acclaim of Snyder’s Batman but it’s still a load of fun.

  4. Beautiful issue, although the ice cream cone thing was kinda of wierd?! What the hell was that about? To show that Batman and Alfred are very human like the rest of us? Just was weird to through that in there. The rest of the issue was awesome and at the very end with deathstroke and than bang Scarecrow!! This is going to be a super cool story arc by the time it is done and the artwork brought me into the book very nicely!! Great issue, scary Scarecrow!!
