I dropped this after the first issue, but picked up #7 as part of the skip week challenge. So glad I did. Still can’t get into the co-feature, though.
That is an amazing cover! I might get it cause of that!
Dini and Nguyen rock!
Every issue of this has been amazing
That is mos def one of the best covers i’ve seen in a while.
Cool cover. I’ve been enjoying this book and the back up but it’s been a little mediocre. Still, I’m loving the rehab of Zsasz.
that cover reminds me of the batman covers from my childhood
Loving this book and sounds like a very interesting use of Damien. Great cover and Manhunter is the only Second feature I’ve read that I like along with Inferno
I dig this cover too. Really caught my eye. Almost old school with the colors.
The plot point is a little like the one in the actual Robin series where he went undercover and saved some kidnapped kids. I’ll have to check if Dini wrote that one as well. 😉
It’d probably be wise for me to switch to tradewaiting mode after this arc is over.
Just traded my first 7 issues in, but I can’t turn down some Zsasz
That is an amazing cover. That should be a poster and I wanna hang it up on my wall.
God I love Nguyen.
Wow- that solict. was a lie. Great issue though, and I know I’ve complained about this before, but ending a great main story with a crappy second feature really takes away from the overall experience. Just having it there in the comic bothers me.
@HailScott
I’ve gotten to where I don’t even both with co-features anymore. It’s hard enough to remember a normal comic a month later, so there’s no way I’m going to remember half of one. The only downside to this is that I then start judging the main story for whether or not it was worth an extra dollar.
This better win best cover this week
I feel like i’m missing something, like the wrong issue came out. I guess I need to reread last issue…
@magnum240
This issue was irrelevant to the last one. It and probably next month are just filler until Dini comes back.
This is the best of all the co-features, I think.
Main story was awful. I’m basically paying $3.99 for the co-feature at this point… actually looking forward to Manhunter’s end so I can drop this.
What’s going on with Dini? His story with Zsasz was interesting but it seems like we can’t get to it (and the solicitation for Dini’s story is above and not this one. I don’t follow too much on the internet, just read them with excitement, but this makes me think I missed an issue or something.
