    Never trust the Amazon dates. They’re always off. Although, I wonder if they release the books to comics retailers first and then ship them to the big bookstores.

    @TNC: I prefer reviews of trade itself, sometimes there’s extra stuff so it’s if the reviewer talks about that. Not saying don’t review but that if you do buy this it would be cool if you mention if there’s extra stuff and whatnot.

    @JJ: I would imagine, given the track record of most trades now a days, the only real extras would be just the covers and random sketches by the artist. But hey if I can get the trade, by buying it or borrowing it, then I’ll state what the extras are. If not……I’m sorry.

    But yeah I just looked up the trade and it’s only sketches and a flashy intro for the book that are the extras. So the 25 price tag is not for the extras.

    At least this has got Last Rites in it. I was a bit worried for trade readers that they’d miss out on the end of the story.

    This seems to be more bang for your buck than DC’s Hardcovers usually give you.  Eight issues, oversized format…$25?  Almost sounds too good to be true.

    Yeah, if anyone who gets this tomorrow could describe how good they think the extras, sketches and "flashy intro" are, that’d be really appreciated.

    I think this is supposed to contain the three Batman/Joker pages from DC Universe #0 as well.

    Haha @ how the solicitation refers to Morrison’s "UNTHINKABLE plot". Imperfect as it was, this arc was the most fun I’ve had reading comics in years.
