DC is going from stupid move to stupid move.
They decided to go first with an Absolute Hush intead of a nice paperback or a regular hardcover. Because of that idiotic idea Absolute Hush never met the sale goals and now is out of print.
Now they decided to do an overpriced Deluxe Edition named Batman: Hush Unwrapped Deluxe (according Amazon) with no single extras, just the regular 320 pages that the story have.
I wonder if Dan Didio is thinking with his ass or what.
Don’t get me wrong… I loved Hush and I was decided to get this lovely Deluxe hardcover, but for the price they ask I was expecting more than just the story.
Amazon have this product ready to go on February 22, 2011 at $26.39, which means that the retail value is $39.99… Are you going for it?. I’m certainly not.
C’mon guys!. If we were heard when we scream about how Final Crisis HC should go, we can have some extra pages for this ridiculous price don’t you think?.
I get now why the "UNWRAPPED" in the title:
"This new, deluxe edition hardcover is a delight for fans of comic book artwork as it presents Lee’s artwork in crisp, pencil form for the very first time".
So this is Hush black and white. No color, just pencils.
For the price I think I’ll pass…
