In this new, original graphic novel from superstar writer/designer Chip Kidd and artist Dave Taylor, Gotham City is undergoing one of the most expansive construction booms in its history. The most prestigious architects from across the globe have buildings in various phases of completion all over town. This sounds interesting, but as usual, they have to put out the expensive hardcover first so I’ve got to wait….
This looks absolutely gorgeous. I cannot afford it right now but I know when my LCS has a sale soon I will get this.

This is getting some very mixed reviews on Amazon. I feel like I got burned by the Xmas Batman hardcover, so I really have no interest in any more DC hardcovers unless they are fantastic. Which this does not seem to be.
@BCD: This looks more to be a tour de force on the art then on story. So I wouldn’t expect a ‘Dark Knight’ or even ‘Scott Snyder’ level of amazing in that regard.
But that X-Mas book by Bermejo was pretty poor.
