  1. This has been number three for me in the Bat-Books race right behind The Dark Knight and Batman! NoBody has made for some serious bad ass fun. I just do not think Dameon really would turn that easy to a stranger especially when he can barely open up to his own father. Lets see what happens in this super disfunctional super family!!

    • This has been a real fun read. The art is amazing and the story have been very compelling.

    • This is my number 2 bat-book behind Batman. It did seem strange how quickly Damien joined NoBody, but I’m thinking that might be a ploy. I’m not convinced he really ever intended to join him.

  2. I’m enjoying this quite a bit.

  3. Pre-re-boot,some had expressed an issue with Tomasi’s handing of Damien’s dialogue. Have things improved?

  4. I realize I’m of EXTREMELY dissenting opinion here, but I actually prefer this to Snyder’s Batman.

  5. Batman > Batman and Robin, but its like super close. This book is awesome.

  6. Last issue was a lot of filler, but this is still a really damn fine comic to read. Hopefully the story picks up just a tad with this.

Oh and if Gleason draws capes (and only capes) for now on I’ll be cool with that.

  7. im not convinced damian would switch so easy . me thinks a hidden agenda ere

  8. This was a much better issue then last month. Although the sudden change of heart by Damian was weak and the cover got me ANGRY. It shouldn’t but it was so wrong from what’s inside that it makes it like it is a different comic. Still, solid issue.

    4/5

    • “I literally flipped the pages back and forth several times to make sure a page wasn’t missing.” I did the same exact thing. A little build up there would have been nice.

    • But it wasn’t a change of heart. Damian never intended to join Ducard. I have a feelig Tomasi wanted us to trust Damian the entire time. If you never believed Damian had turned to the dark side, it wasn’t sudden at all.

  9. Cause he’s my dad you idiot…Love that line. Great book

  10. Another solid issue. Tomasi is one of the most consistently good writers in the biz. And he and Gleason work brilliantly as a team. They may not deliver mind blowing issues every month, but it’s never boring, and never mediocre.

  11. I have been really enjoying this series, I felt the flashback scene in this issue lack some visual quality though, some of the characters just seemed a little off, rushed maybe? The end sequence was great though, looking forward to seeing where this title goes.

  12. Just from those last few panels, it is almost certain that Batman is going to kick nobody’s ass!!!

  13. Hate to post more of the same, but this was really terrific. As I read it I kept thinking, “Man, this is GREAT.” One of the best comics I’ve read in a while. I hesitate to compare this to the Snyder/Capullo Batman book, because one is lobster tail and the other a fine steak. Both are wonderful, but different. 5/5
