  1. I’m really looking forward to seeing these two be reunited in this new place. I wonder if they’ll remember each other or even have some of that great tension!

  2. Just as I was getting ready to drop this title they go and bring in Nightwing! It won’t let me escape!

  3. I am compelled to support Babs as Batgirl in any form, but my expectations are not being met by this series.

  4. It’s make or break time for some of these titles.

  5. This is your last chance Batgirl! Please be good.

  6. I thought #s 1 and 2 were good as hell. Can’t agree with most of the lot here. The Mirror dude is pretty buggin.

    • I agree.

I thought before the 52 launch that of the two titles, I’d probably end up dropping this one quick and keeping Batwoman on my pull list… but the reverse has occurred. 🙂

  7. Third issue in and so far so good. Like all the new 52 I pull waiting for this arc to finsh up. Adding Nightwing tells me that either there is some need for him to be there or just throwing him in to keep readers.

  8. I’m surprised to hear of so many people on the edge with this book. I’ve absolutely loved this, especially the first issue. Granted, I have always secretly had a crush on Babs…shhhhhh. 🙂

    • It’s not bad by any stretch! It is just not grabbing me like the vast majority of my other books have. I feel the same way about Batwoman, there is not a thing wrong with it, it is just not hooking me in. I think 2 or 3 issues is enough for this to occur.

I want to stress there isn’t anything really wrong with either book. Just not digging it.

    • Did you bring up Izombie? Did you!?

    • I’m with @adamius. Came on to comment how for me this is a sleeper hit of the 52 only to find a load of comments about middling enthusiasm. I’d say that story, writing, action and art have been great in all issues.

  9. I initially rejected this book and refused to add it to my pull list. Curiosity got the best of me, though, and I’ve purchased all three issues so far.

I guess it’s time I made it official and just added it to my list already. I’ve really enjoyed this series so far.

  10. I almost dropped this this week, but found I had a little more money than I expected and figured what the hell. I’m glad I bought it. Good issue. Really liked the Barbara/Dick dynamic.

  11. I have come to terms with the fact that no matter what book, I don’t like the way Gail Simone writes.

It’s not what she writes, is how she does it. It feels… overwritten, somehow.

  12. My favorite title of the new reboot titles. I am digging Batgirl’s inner turmoil, the great art, and the action packed themes. I am not sure how this can get any better.

  13. Gave this a big fat 5; Babs and Dick playing some tag, crazy! I am a little concerned with the constant fact that they keep bringing up the back in a wheel chair if she is not careful. I think the Commish knows!

    Just sayin’,

  14. This book gets a lot of leeway from me, because I WANT to really like it. I like female led books and I like Batgirl. It’s ok, but I’m not sure how long I’m sticking with this. I’ll stay for the first arc and then we’ll see.

  15. I added this title late…well on Wednesday actually and I have to say I am enjoying it…perhaps reading it as a block of a story helped…there is something compelling about Barbara Gordon’s narration so far

  16. I’m giving this ’til the end of this arc. If I don’t feel it’s worth three bucks after that, I’m out. So far, it’s not lookin’ good.

  17. I like this book….I dont love it. I’ve really wanted to let go of the comparisons to pre relaunch Barbara, and the Stephanie Brown Batgirl….and I really can’t. I did enjoy seeing Nightwing here for her to play off of, and that’s helped some…though I really wish that the Mirror storyline would have been wrapped up before we got Dick here. I feel like the Nightwing-Batgirl interplay should have been a whole issue unto itself, and really I just want to see Mirror finished, and the storyline moved onto the next arc.

  18. Really enjoyed this issue and I’m sticking with it for the time being.

  19. I’m growing to like this book. I wasn’t impressed by the first issue but 2 and 3 really stepped it up.
