Two more issues till Bachs is gone (yay!). Also for Nicieza (boo!). Wonder how Nicieza is gonna wrap up his run?
This is one of the Bat-books that I’m not consistently excited for, but every time I do read it I do get sucked into it, mostly for the morality plays that Nicieza does, and just to see how Michael Lane’s life will get screwed up this month.
My POTW this week.
Really outstanding work by Nicieza this issue. I mean he’s been killing it for seven previous issues, but this current one really brings a balance of religion and fate to Lane. Also, shockingly, the art was great. Somehow Bachs and the rest really outshine with this issue.
If the art stays this was for the last issue for the team, it would be a nice send off for everyone involved.
Loved this issue concerning the eighth deadly sin. Really excited for the next one, and I think the art has gotten better in recent issues or I could just be getting used to it; I’d have to go back and check to be sure but I think it’s gotten better. Keep up the good work!
