Hot damn that was fantastic! This book always feels like it’s twice as long as all my other books, there’s so much going on. Who knew the Taskmaster could be such a compelling character?

Christos Gage is the master of the voiceover. His style is so cinematic, and when he focuses on a single character in depth, like Johnny Guitar, Butterball, or now Taskmaster, he makes that character feel like the most pivotal and fascinating character in the world. It’s a rare month when this is not far and away my POTW.
Doom firing at Taskmaster is explicitly shown in the Cabal one-shot.
