Taskmaster fans, rejoice! Christos Gage has given more depth to everybody’s favorite henchman instructor than any other writer ever has. OK, so that may not have been the tallest order, but Gage went above and beyond. He used what little has been written of Taskmaster’s character and fleshed out a seemingly throwaway character into someone that you can root for. The interactions between TM and Constrictor were also a nice touch, and I’d love to see more of them together. Speaking of Constrictor, his storyline with Diamondback has been a nice little subplot and I’m curious to see where it goes. And I don’t won’t to forget Rafa Sandaval’s art. His style fits the book nicely and I hope to see plenty more him in the future. I know this book means next to nothing in the big picture of the Marvel Universe but so what? It’s enjoyable and that’s all I ask.
