  1. I’d give this a try if it wasn’t a 3.99 price point. Come on Marvel maybe lower it for the first issue of a new creative team?

  2. I am really looking forward to this. I didn’t love the last arc (didn’t dislike it, just didn’t love it), so I’m really hoping that Liu and McKone can bring something really exciting to this series. I seems like a lifetime ago that this was my most anticipated series every time it came out.

  3. This needs more pulls! Tell your friends!

  4. This should totally be a $2.99 book. If only for the first issue of the new creative team.

  5. Yeah, I wish it was cheaper especially digitally. I’m loving the price-drop to 1.99 on DC’s digital comics.

  6. Agreed with all I’m not a big fan of the 3.99 thing.

I am a big fan of Gambit, mon ami.

  7. I liked this much more than I expected I would. I thought Liu really mishandled X-23 but this looks promising so far.

  8. Been thinking about dropping this for a while, thought I’d give this new team a chance, and I’m just not in any way hooked. Seems like a pretty dull, pedestrian set-up to what’s likely to be another dull story. Not a good looking book either. Time to take my leave.

  9. Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t Northstar’s name “Jean-Paul” and not “Jean-Claude”?

  10. If this is an ongoing team and not just an “in between” filler story I think this book would have lots of promise and possibly replace X-Men Legacy as a must read, mainly because i’m beyond frustrating with the misuse, or lack thereof, of Gambit in all the X-Men series. He’s a popular character who seems to only be used for token appearances or to seem mopey over Rogue, who is more like Kristen Stewart from Twilight than the character she used to be. I’d almost rather he move on from the X-Men and branch out with another team and most importantly another writer that knows how to write him. Bring back Scott Lobdell or Fabian Nicieza he flourished in their stories.
