ANGEL & FAITH #3

Giles’s personal Watcher files lead Angel and Faith to what Angel believes will be his true redemption–at least for a portion of his unforgivable sins.

In the underbelly of London, where demons are coping with the lack of magic and the resulting changes to the natural hierarchy, Angel and Faith follow the first major lead in Angel’s quest . . . forcing him to reflect on his earliest days in Los Angeles.

  1. Can’t wait! This has been SO good so far. Even better than Buffy Season 9, in my opinion.

  2. This has been a huge surprise for me. My ridiculous devotion to the characters meant I was going to buy it, but I was very wary – since I liked neither Angel nor Faith in the TV show (and Angel’s asshattery from Season 8) but the first couple issues have been loads of fun. The art is leaps and bounds better than Jeanty’s in Buffy, looking just enough like the actors while still being their own thing.

Better than the flagship title so far.

    • Ha I love that 8 ) is automatically turned into 8)
Do we really need smilies in the comments section anyway?

Anyway back on topic, yea I’ve been LOVING this series too, it was Buffy that got me into buying comics monthly (before I read the odd graphic novel or TPB) but I was honestly thinking of skipping this series (never got into the Angel spin off) so glad I didn’t, this is genuinely a brilliant series not just something collectible for the Buffy fans.

So many great books coming out this week, it’s hurting my student budget 🙁 (maybe smilies are useful) I try to stick to 2 books a week but having to double that this week.

  3. that wasn’t supposed to be a smiley face. That was supposed to be an 8 oops.

  4. Angel and Faith is one of my favorite titles this fall, and better than the Buffy book thus far. Plus its got Angel in it.

  5. Just caught up with this book while simultaneously watching through Angel for the first time. I am determined to like this character! The fact that this book is great is helping.

  6. Still awesome. Better than Buffy.
