  1. I want to check this out, but the fact that it’s six issue mini, plus the known history of lateness when it comes to both creators makes me hesitant.

    • I’m getting this and possibly waiting for trade if delays occur.

    • Well, I assume they’ll be on time since they are putting out two issues this month alone.

    • They aren’t anymore actually. They combined what would have been issue 1 and 2 into one issue (but kept the price the same even though its now a ‘double size issue’)

Issue 2 (which will now contain what would have been issue 3) is coming in May.

  2. Yes!!!!! Finally!!!!!
I’ve got a good feeling this is gonna be a winner!

  3. Jonathan Ross is the British Jay Leno.

    • I thought Turf was really damn cool. No way Jay Leno could write something like that. He’d just write a book with lame political jokes and lots of cars.

  4. Man, I loved this book… when it was called WILDGUARD!

    Right, guys? Who’s with me?

    … guys? Todd Nauck? No?

    • I loved Wildguard, too. It was fun. I had never been a big Nauck fan but I loved that book and he totally won me over.

  5. I was really hopeing this would get more pulls, also i was shocked iFanboy dident but this in there “Light Week?” colum.
I bet that wouldve helped a lot.

  6. Problem with this is you have a writer who was late on his last mini and an artist who gives late a new definition… But i hope that we can get the old Hitch back and this could be great.

  7. Jeez, all these complaints about lateness.
The way i see it is I’d rather the book be late, giving the writer or artist time to revise things, rather then just shipping the book out when it was planed when they know they could’ve done a better job.

  8. So I’m not the only one who noticed Sarah Palin in this, right?

  9. I was surprised by this. It turned out a lot better than I expected. I liked the idea, I liked the story, and the art was really well done. Not the best #1 I ever read, but definitely enough to get me back for #2. Well worth a read.

  10. Forgot to pull on Wednesday and forgot this one too over the weekend while at C2E2 so, I will have to wait for this Wednesday and hope they still have a copy.

  11. Theu had thi issue for me too, so I read this as well just now and I must say; this was pretty cool. I really do not watch any kinda of reality shows and really find most of them really annoying. This was a cool concept for a comic book though, the conflict between goverment and what would it be like if this really happened in todays society seems pretty dead on. Gave this a 4 and I will be adding this to my pull list, I also think Image has just passed Marvel in number of comics I read by publisher. No big deal to anyone else however to me I really have never padi much attention to any other publishers other than DC or Marvel. I am sure this can be said by a lot of individuals now a days since there are so many fresh new ideas out there and I think Image for one is not afraid to imagine…. If you are looking for something to read and you are looking for something fresh in comics and you like super heroes go ahead and pick this up I think you will be pleasently surprised!!!!
