     bout time if ya ask me. not a fan of the Pearl/Henry connection. he’s gettin’ old and she’s forever young. the fact that he doesn’t want to become like her and live happily everafter for all time, speaks volumes of strange noise to me.

   Man, this was a fantastic issue! From action packed to emotional impact; Snyder, Albuquerque, and McCaig batted a thousand this month. I immediately went back over each gorgeously rendered page right after I finished it. It’s easy to overlook how great this series is when nearly every issue is five-star, but it’s issues like this that make me appreciate how awesome it is to be onboard for this classic in the making.

   Anyone else’s shop get the Francavilla variant? It was as amazing as you’d expect from Francesco. I guess Jock’s will be next month? It’s pretty rare that I will pass up Rafa’s covers, but in this case my hand was forced.
