   This was a great great great issue, although i am a little sad MJ is depowered. Glad Carlie and Peter are broken up though. Not that she wasn’t a great character but Peter is getting a little too old to keep pulling that kind of bullshit with a girl, especially one he’s living with. There comes a point where you just have to start trusting people you love. You’re a superhero so they’re going to be in danger anyway, might as well prepare them for it.

     I agree with you. I’m wondering how this Carly thing is going to play out though, I can’t see them leaving them broken up with her knowing the truth…it’s not like with MJ, she knew before they were together and had a much longer and more serious relationship…maybe they are going to kill her off or maybe they get back together (I’d rather they killed her).

     I also liked that the Doctor Strange spell is gone now, that took away a lot of possible twists in stories and I never liked the whole thing to begin with.

   Wow i forgot how great Caselii is on Spiderman since we have been deprived of him this entire event! Does anyone know if he is now going to be the continuing artist? I sure hope so.

   Anyways this Epilogue not only truly was a AMAZING issue, it also wrapped things up very nicely and was still able to open open tons of new possibilities for more intresting storys to come. 5 star book for me and is making it extremly hard for me to decide the POTW

    Brilliant issue, this and Daredevil are my favourite books every month. I’m not a Marvel guy in the slightest, in fact I buy more DC books than Marvel, but Spidey and DD are just fantastic every issue. Pure fun.

    So please forgive me if this is a stupid questions but prior to Spider-Island I haven’t read Spider-Man in a loooooooong time. I thought after the One More Day retcon everyone, including MJ, forgot Peter was Spider-Man. Did she find out again? Or did they re-retcon OMD?

    Loved this event, sooo glad I jumped back on for this. In for the long haul now…

      In OMD/BND it was established that MJ was the only one who remembered Peter was Spidey. Since then many of the Avengers and the entirety of the Fantastic Four have also re-learned that Pete is Spidey.

    This was my favorite issue of Spider Island. I’m so happy to see things headed the way I think they’re headed in terms of Pete’s love life.
