  1. “Ugh, The Jackal.” Living through The Clone Saga will cause me to have that reaction every time I see him. And his minions are Kaine & Ben Reilly? I might have to drop this book.

    • I take back having to possibly drop this book. Dan Slott writes Peter so well that not even the presence of The Jackal can make me dislike the book. Great issue.

  2. i just want the scarlet spider back. Do what you gotta do, Slott! But i have been loving SI so far.

  3. Having a blastie with this. More, I say!

  4. I finally got caught up last week so I looking forward to diving into this issue.

  5. Really liked the prologue, but last issue left me cold. I might not be a Humberto Ramos fan… Or possibly that was so really poor Avengers dialogue.

  6. Glad that this series is now day of print. Now I do not have to drive 7 miles to my comic book store.
Spider-Island looks to get better each issue.

  7. Loved this issue! Then again i’m probably the only one alive who still loves eddie brock/anti-venom.

  8. Slott is surprisingly still a good Spidey story teller. I wasn’t fan of his work during brand new day but he’s proven me wrong. He’s now my 2nd favorite Spidey writer of this 2000 era but he can’t surpass Joe Kelly for me. I wish Joe Kelly was still writing Spidey though.

  9. This was good but I wanted a bit more out of it….I hope the Peter looking like an idiot thing is done now, didn’t really care for the whole thing with Carley being the one who thinks it might be the Jackal.

  10. Man, but this is a good time. Having a ton of fun with the classic Spidey flavor of this arc, and the joy that Pete get from web-slinging out in the open. Can’t wait for next ish.

  11. I’m out, I can’t continue to read sub par jokey Spider-Man anymore.

7 months for this book to turn around, and it hasn’t and I doubt it will.

    Goodbye Spidey.

  12. I genuinely can’t understand people who don’t like this book if they like Spider-Man…

Different strokes for different folks, I guess…

  13. I can depend on this comic to serve up a good time. This issue is no exception. ASM is like a ride at the State Fair. It won’t change your life and it’s not a next-level experience, but it sure is a lot of fun. Great stuff, as usual.
