  1. Likely my Pick of the Week. 😉

  2. Based on recent issues, looks like Amazing Spider-Man has been in the 10-12% POW range.  That’s very high for a Batman dominated site.  Lookin good.

  3. Excited for this, last issue was great and Big Time has been very solid so far!!

  4. Killer stuff. Excited for this.

  5. This book is just the jam

  6. I wish there were more Spider-man books. I was in my story over the weekend craving a Spider-man fix. Spider-man is my favourite, and I wish there was a book for every mood like there is Batman. Last issue was the best it’s been for a while. More please.

  7. I’m going to be alone in this, I know, but I didn’t really like the last issue. Still, this is one of the best books on the market, and I’m gonna keep reading it regardless, especially with Marcos Martin coming along in 2 issues time!

  8. @ComicBookGuy37  –didn’t love the last issue either…i thought it was the weakest story and art issue so far in Big Time….now i still enjoyed it, but not as much as the first few. I am one of the few that misses Ramos’ art and is not a huge fan of this Caselli fellow.

  9. I’m loving this new story-line “BIG TIME”!

  10. So, Fred Van Lante did most of the work this issue. I wish they’d put him on a Spider-man on going. The back-up was pretty funny, as was the script for the main issue.

I wonder how seriously to take the cliff hanger though, isn’t there a mystic blindspot preventing people putting 2 and 2 together regarding the connection between Peter and Spider-man.

  11. @Zeppo  I think that’s only if they previously knew who he was.

  12. So, is Dan Slott not able to write two books a month? Really loved this issue.

  13. @andybmcd

Really? That’s kind silly. So Aunt May or Norman Osborn can’t see it, but a random villian like the Vulture could figure it out.

We’ll see what next issue brings I guess

  14. @andymcd and zeppo

No one is supposed to be able to figure it out unless he unmaskes or is unmasked in front of someone based on how Peter explained it to the FF…..if people started finding clues about it they would piece together the clues wrong and come to a different conclusion…..he never said it was only for people who already knew….though it’s weird cause he was worried about Carly finding part of his costume and what not so I guess we will have to see where this goes, cause Slott wrote the issue explaining the blindspot and I can’t see him just ignoring that.

  15. Wow, great stuff from Caselli, really hits a home run here.  Woulda been coolah if Jessica Jones was introduced as Power Woman there, and her costume is so vanilla.

  16. everyone knew who spider-man was at one point because of the civil war unmasking.

  17. i don’t care what anyone says. Caselli has one of the best spidey senses of all time. What i mean by that is that he captures everything I love about Spider-man before i even get to read the dialogue. The draws him so slim and agile looking, and the way his mask and eyes move with the characters thoughts, strains, and surprise! AHHH! I love it so much! I wish he’d stay!

  18. Ugh, still no new comics at my LCS because of the stupid blizzard that hit the midwest.

  19. Your MAMA sucks meteors!

  20. I miss Ramos but this is another solid issue of Amazing. Glad they didn’t do away with the Brand New Day run when Big Time began!

  21. this was ok. Really i’m just not as psyched for this arc as i was with the first one. I really want to see more of Peter at Horizon Labs, and it looks like we will. Also i miss the Hobgoblin and am not at all into these insect rogues.

I’m enjoying it, but i’m not super psyched like i was with the first arc. I miss Ramos’ art a lot.

  22. @wally. I love Ramos’ art on spidey himself. But i don’t really care much for it on the other characters. I think Caselli is, overall, a better artist.
