Even though I want the Atom backup, its not worth $4.
It’s funny, but I think that I have the opposite problem. I’m debating paying extra for a back-up that is boring me to tears. I do likes me some Legion, though…
The preview for the issue looked good, and the Atom co-feature’s been alright so far. 🙂
I will buy the ATOM tpb thats why I did not pick up the Brightest day special issue.
@Reform – I wouldn’t count on DC collecting their backups seperately. They havn’t so far. Matter of fact, they havn’t collected any of them at all, to my knowledge…
@CaseyJustice- The Manhunter back up from Batman: Streets of Gotham has just been solicited, but that is the only one I have seen so far.
As for this title, I am getting it for the Legion but was quite impressed with the Atom back up last issue.
Am I the only one who thinks the tone of the Legion story is radically different, jarringly so, from the Atom backup? It’s a little off-putting.

What the hell was this issue?
atom backup was better than the main story this time around. makes me want to pick up the one shot to find out what’s going on with him.
I know Cos was a legal adult by his world’s laws, but I’m not sure how I feel about a 14 year old getting smashed and having random sex with his team-mate. Also really on the fence about Imra’s actions.
Skipped the back-up again because the one-shot a few months ago was soooo bad.
I’m only reading this for the Atom back up.
The Atom story has been really good. Science and mystery!
I only buy this for the Atom backup. My 4/5 rating is based wholly on that. The Legionnaire story just is not holding anything for me.
