  1. Sneak Peek please? I’m SO Excited to get the TPB on this one as I’ve been buying each issue digitally. I’m so hoping that there’s a super cool hacker sigint guy that get’s to shoot at bad guys too coming at some point.

  2. This book is one of my first read books when I get it. Wish this book was getting a bit more push from the readers. Image has been hitting on some good books here recently.

    • Great to hear! I say this with no “hype machine” powering me, but it only gets better. Best way to get that “push” is to tell your friends and tell your local shop.

    • Yea I imagine not a lot of people are picking this book up and I’m scared its going to be cancelled soon because im really enjoying the crap out of this book.

  3. This story was amazing, the best one yet by far in the series. I enjoyed the others but I was worried about the formula getting stale. But now I see what Edmondson is doing. These stories are not character studies, it’s about the mission…and the story of this mission was powerful as hell. Didn’t see this one coming. I’m on board for the rest.

I thought this book would look like The Rinse but Laming inked with a brush and it’s great for this jungle story, scratchy with a kind of old school feel.

    • I didn’t like this one as much as the others. I’ll have to read through it again but the ending left me wanting where the others seemed to be more closed.

    • OK, I read it again at lunch and it’s great. I don’t know what I missed last night. I guess I shouldn’t try to get extra reading in at 3 AM.

The art was also great. The tone of the “building” storm with the panel’s that only showed the weather of the terrain and how it “climaxed” with the “Crack” and then the storm was over as AWACS bugged out to tanker. Pretty damn good pacing and a great read. Mitch is great and his influence is everywhere in this issue as the colors are perfect.
