Okay, I’m going to plug this book again and again.

Issue 5 and 6 have both been what you would call orgin stories, though these would be more like back ground stories. Issue 5 was a bit down for me, however 6 is back on the mark of a great read to me. As I have stated in previous reviews of The Activity, the feel of this book is something I don’t find in other books. Maybe it is because of the work that I do, that this book resinates with me, NO I am not any type of special ops, etc, just work to support our fighting forces, so the lingo used makes it feel real to read.

Every story thus far, has made me feel like the characters are real, that I could actually meet the people in the sotry, unlike a superhero with super powers. You know it would be so cool to meet a super hero, but you also know that it is just fantasy. Activity relates stories that most likely happened with real people. That is hard to pull off in a comic book without some kind of supernatural, over the top gadgets and tech feel to it.

Go out and give this book a try, I believe you will be very happy that you did.

This would be a great issue to pick up and try it out.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good

  1. Let me just state for the record, that I feel that all our brave men and women who put their life on the line are the real Super Heros!

  2. I totally agree with you man, I’ve really been enjoying this book. Kind of has a vibe similar to The Losers but more “realistic”, for the lack of a better term. I’m glad theyre doing the back stories, it was kind of hard to keep track of everyone in the beginning.
